Sift -- not Shift!!
  • replace pixels matching a reference color ( within a given tolerance ) either with a
    • "match color"

++or a

    • "match texture"
  • and all remaining pixels with either a
    • "nonmatch color"

++or a

    • "nonmatch texture".

a refraction texture and a reflection texture are treated different ways regarding normals and refraction index.

TexCtrlBlur means "Texture Controlled Blur"
needs PS 2_0

control a Blur effect simply with a GreyTexture.
imagine using it e.g. with DetectObject.dll
for automated realtime facebluring

name is irritating because the texture delays are not generated inside the shaders.
depending on your hardware you can choose between three shaders.

Echo4.fx works with PS 1_4
and misses the LerpModes.

Echo6.fx and
Echo8.fx need PS 2_0
and decent hardware.

my laptop e.g. doesn't run Echo8
though it can run P S2_b.
well, 8 texture inputs is a bit hard..

TexCtrlFade.fx

TexCtrlFade means "Texture Controlled Fade"
fade between Source1 and Source2 with the ControlTexture.

makes a simple multiFX-VideoMixer in a shader and with PS 1.0 it should even work on old machines!
