Per gestire l'audio in vvvv, si può scegliere tra i nodi delle categorie nella colonna a fianco.

Ogni categoria ha i suoi pro e contro, e non possono operare tra loro.

Questa documentazione copre le categorie DShow9 e Bass; il pacchetto VVVV.Audio non è ancora ben documentato, anche se si può fare riferimento alle helppatch contenute nel download.

Parlando francamente, vvvv non è stato proprio pensato per l'elaborazione audio. Per poter contare sulla massima flessibilità, forse preferireste sporcarvi le mani con pd, alias pure data.

DShow9: i nodi nativi per l'elaborazione dell'audio nella categoria DShow9 sono basati su DirectShow.

VAudio: il pacchetto VVVV.Audio garantisce soluzioni estremamente flessibili, assieme al supporto di driver VST e ASIO.

Bass: i nodi in questa categoria sono presenti nell'AddonPack. Basati sulla libreria audio Bass, sono un contributo di vux.

irrKlang: vvvv supporta la libreria irrKlang per il suono 2d\3d. Il nodo Irrklang è un contributo di sanch e si trova nell'addonpack.
