The vvvv license comes in two flavors: a non-commercial and a commercial license: For non-commercial use vvvv is free of charge. For any commercial use you need to buy a vvvv license. The vvvv licensing page will give you some more information which of these licenses will suit your needs.

- DirectX Redist(ributable) latest native DirectX version (needed when starting vvvv.exe pops up an error saying: d3dx9_XX.dll is missing).
- SlimDX End User Runtime (August 2009) a .net wrapper for DirectX needed for some of the plugins.
- .net 2.0 needed for all vvvv plugins. (Probably not needed when already installed the SlimDX Runtime).

Installation
- extract the vvvv directory from the .zip archive to a nice place on your harddisk.
- start vvvv.exe (at least once with as administrator!)
- if you encounter any problems during installation see TroubleShooting
