Licensing

Greek | Spanish | Russian | Mandarin | Korean | Italian

vvvv is free for evaluation and non-commercial use.
For all commercial applications, you need to buy a license.

Commercial use means that the work done with vvvv is primarily intended for or directed toward commercial advantage or private monetary compensation.

We are well aware of the fact that the distinction between commercial and non-commercial has a somehow blurry boundary. We trust the fair judgement of our users.

Three types of commercial licenses

Full

  • 500€ +VAT per license
  • volume discounts apply
  • use on one PC at a time
  • valid forever
  • includes updates for one year since purchase

Buy Full License

Updates

Full licenses include free updates for one year since the date of purchase. Buy another year of updates for half the price of a full license. Volume discounts apply.

Buy Update

Weekly

  • 200€ +VAT per license
  • volume discounts apply
  • use on one PC at a time
  • valid for 7 consecutive days
  • includes updates within those seven days

Buy Weekly License

OEM

If you are creating a product based on vvvv which does not confront the end-user with vvvv itself and you'll be selling it in large (> 50) quantities you can apply for an OEM license. Details are negotiable based on the nature of your product. Please direct your informal application to licensing@vvvv.org

  • 1-3: 125€/11.000€ + VAT
  • 22% off for the 4th to 9th dongle
  • 33% off for the 10th to 19th dongle

Rent a Dongle

If you need dongles only for a shorter period (eg. the week of a fair) consider renting them. Tell us your specific needs via licensing@vvvv.org and we'll send you a quote.

joreg: bored of #vvvv? try some alternatives: https://alternativeto.net/software/vvvv/

tonfilm: @beyon you can also use F# together with #vl, see: #fsharp #dotnet #visualprogramming https://github.com/vvvv/VL.DemoLib/tree/master/src/VL.FSharpDemoLib

beyon: tonfilm: Ok,currently using F# though but maybe I should look into sharpdx vs xenko math

tonfilm: @beyon #vl also fills these gaps with huge range of collision detection math from #sharpdx which is basically the same as #xenko's
