On September 26th the Vienna Tourist Board will be hosting an event where Alex Kiessling is creating artworks not only in Vienna, but simultaneously in Berlin, at Breitscheidplatz, and London, at Trafalgar Square.
Alex is using two industrial robots (ABB IRB 4600) who are fed by real-time tracking data from Vienna via satellite connection to the remote cities. The result will be three artworks that are later brought together to built a triptych.

By reading data from an infra-red touch frame and a Microsoft Kinect we analyze the movements of the artist and then the data is translated to feed the coordinates to the robots’ servers — difficult process since the robots’ software was not designed to interpret real-time data. The robots then recreate the movements of the artist and draw their interpretation of Alex’s drawing in real time. The data will be transmitted from Vienna to Berlin and London using a dedicated satellite connection.

For the second time, I've been part of the Kazantip vj team, for ten days, we rocked the massive LED screens at one of the biggest and craziest electronic music festival in east Europe.

The team is composed of : Jago from Poland, E.Gruppe from Germany, Mr Vux from France, Devon Miles from Germany, Amoeba from the UK, Antokhio and EPS from Russia as well as myself, clone, from France.

This not often I can have live visual of this quality in front of me, and being part of this is for me a real honor. Everyone has different style and different approach with their visuals, technicaly and artistically, but the common point is the passion and the energy putted into their work to make it unique.

I have the feeling to be part of something and this video is dedicated to us, Kazantip's VJ.

This is true VJ here, true live visual, true art, enjoy.

Lichtinstallationen.com realized the 3D mapping on a turbine model at ALSTOM family day 2013 in Mannheim.

Aim of the show designed by blubb.media was to show the function of a steam turbine generating electricity.

We used vvvv to realize the mapping and the interactive realtime show.

Due to the multiple video and content layers and the several presenter-triggered shows, we need to create a specific multi-cue presentation tool. Interaction by the audience was based on volume that simulated realistic turbine power. The 2/3-D content, seperately produced by blubb.media, was streamed to the backdrop projection and the turbine (3D model texturing) live.

Live footage of my audio-visual performance at Arc Festival, Bristol, 2013.

I repurposed Cyclotone to accommodate the expansive 22m x 3.4m arc shaped screen which spanned the full width of the venue.
