Our Friends at communications agency Hauser Lacour were tasked with creating the branding and information design for the new HQ of the Fraport Group, a large office building designed by Albert Speer + Partner architects. Part of the assignment was a massive monitor wall for the similarly enormous lobby of the building, accompanied by a few elegant information terminals integrated into the lobby furniture, which we happily provided.
The Real-Time Information Wall consists of 21 Full HD Screens (a total of 43,5 Mega pixel fed from 8 seamlessly synchronised computers) controlled by bespoke software that we developed with vvvv. The wall pulls data from the world wide web and constantly displays actualities such as the stock quotes of the company share, Fraport news, flight plans and so on, interleaved with an impressively high-res slide show of Fraport impressions. The system is on 24/7, responding to a ‘mood time plan’ laid down by the . It also has the ability for custom presentations. For that, the user is able to plug in a Laptop via a standard HDMI cable, or to use a simple CMS where all necessary information can be uploaded to the wall.

The Interactive Media Terminals are integrated into the seating furniture of the lobby. With an elegant turntable-style jog controller, the user is able to interactively peruse a plethora of stories and tidbits about all aspects of Fraport, both real-time datalogues and visual narratives on entertaining side topics of the impressive operation that is Fraport worldwide.
MESO is also the hardware service partner for Fraport AG, providing maintenance and care for the systems.

its actually moving images!
a collective spatial installation in complementary colours.
By changing red, green and blue ambient light the visitor is constrained to focus on the respective complementary-coloured design elements. This simple effect induces the illusion of motion in actually static pictures and objects. Various techniques from the beginnings of animation are used to tell tiny stories, altogether creating an immersive visual experience in a contemporary moving-picture language.
moscow edition was showing at moscow manege from 17.05. – 26.6.2013, commissioned by sound:frame

Two exhibits for Diehl Aerosystems showing their portfolio and taking a closer look at their avionics products. It was pretty fun creating a realtime rendered airplane surrounded by atmospheric lighting.
All Animations are realtime too including things like slats and flaps which help landing a plane.
Exhibit Specs Portfolio: 5760x1080 running at true 60fps, all DVI Heads in perfect sync. Thanks to Geforce Titan and Nvidia Surround Mode.

As part of a project for the "Österreich Werbung", Strukt had the opportunity to throw some experimental content onto the facade of the "Museum Moderner Kunst" in Vienna. This is a sneak preview shot during the initial projection tests. It was freezing and we had no proper video equipment so please excuse the shaky video ;)

The Ax winery offers visitors a tour to experience wine in form of an exhibition in Kéthely, Hungary. Strukt was commissioned to develop interactive installations for this exhibition. For the foyer two installations have been developed which serve as information terminals with a high entertainment value. The so-called " packaging station" leads wine cartons hanging on an assembly line behind a display on which animated robot arms fill the boxes with wine bottles and label them. The "packet inspection" station performs in a similar manner when cartons are passing behind a screen, product information for the various wines are displayed. The focus of the installations lay on the wine box and the way it is taking in the course of the production.
Strukt also developed the "black box" a sculptural installation, which offers an immersive multimedia experience for the visitors. The sculpture, which is reminiscent of the shape of wine boxes and reaches a height of 3 meters, illuminated with video while accompanied by electronic sounds.
