Mesh

Il existe plusieurs options dans vvvv pour créer un mesh:

Un mesh est un conteneur de données avec 2 parties distinctes: IndexBuffer et VertexBuffer:

  • L'IndexBuffer est une liste de nombres triples intégraux, où chaque triplet défini un triangle du mesh et chaque nombre intégral renvoi à un vertex du vertexbuffer.
  • Le VertexBuffer est une liste de tous les vertex du mesh.

Vertex

Un vertex est lui-même un conteneur pour différentes données comme la position, l'orientation (la normale), les coordonnées de texture et d'autres. Mais "vertex" désigne également une position en 3D, les données de position en étant la partie la plus importante, car grâce à elle la forme du mesh est définie.
