Acerca de los AddOns

vvvv no es en sí mismo código abierto (open source), pero ofrece distintas interfaces abiertas para que los usuarios puedan crear sus propios nodos:

Plugins: la interface más general para escribir nodos multipropósito
Freeframes: efectos de vídeo/nodos de análisis
Effects: vertex y pixelshader
Modules: patches de vvvv re-utilizables
VST: efectos de audio/nodos de análisis

Muchos usuarios comparten su trabajo sobretodo bajo la licencia open source LGPL. Dichos nodos, al no formar parte del ejecutable principal son llamados addons y su código fuente se encuentra en github

Todos los addons contribuidos están disponibles a través de una descarga aparte addonpack permitiendo así ciclos independientes de entregas entre la aplicación principal de vvvv y el contenido aportado por los usuarios.
