Physics

In order to apply physical behaviour (gravity, collision, ..) to geometry you have the choice between different physics engines implemented in vvvv.

Box2d

Box2D

Use the nodes in the Box2d category for animating 2d geometry.

Those nodes are contributed by vux and are coming with the addonpack.

See also:

Bullet

Bullet Physics

Use the nodes in the Bullet category for animating 3d geometry.

Those nodes are contributed by vux and are coming with the addonpack.

Examples in your vvvv\addonpack\ directory:

  • girlpower\BulletPhysics

See also:

ODE

Open Dynamics Engine

If for whatever reason none of the above works for you have a look at vvvvs native (but rather legacy) implementation of the Open Dynamics Engine in the ODE category of nodes. For those nodes check their helppatches.

joreg: @karistouf there are no freeframes in x64 but you can use Contours via VL.OpenCV in VL!

joreg: @qoupas i'm afraid this is a rather unspecific question. please start a forum thread with more details so we can help you.

qoupas: Hi, which nodes to use to parse real time data from a webpage ?
