Digital Slaves created with Visual System a LED sculpture in L'Atomium in Brussels in march 2012.
We usually imagine the home of the future as a cold cube full of neon fluorescence aggressively plunged into permanent night. Surely inspired by classic sci-fi movie Blade Runner or as Johnny Mnemonic, this conventional expectation of a bleak future but paradoxically hyper-lit is frigid as irrelevant to the extent that a normal man can not bear more 5 minutes the light emitted by these tubes without losing any enthusiasm. The Atomium has yet made a bet that kind of hostile environment in your retinas, and asked Visual System to completely rethink the visual environment of the escalator with Transit.
Transit is a bright, sprawling form. This device and its LED is an architecture in architecture. It offers the possibility to forget the strange physical structures of the escalator, while stressing its existence. Transit therefore not merely to dress the escalator, she redefines it offers disembodied and dreamlike dimension.

DNA is the best software.

The ArchiBio project discovers phenomena that surround us everywhere, yet they remain invisible. The growth of bacteria, fungi and plants, life of an ant colony – the beauty of these phenomena escapes our attention, because they exist on a different scale or in a different time beyond our perception.

ArchiBio videomapping unfolds the beauty of microscopic worlds enlarged to a giant size in the public space. It poses a question whether the relationship between nature and technology really is antagonistic, or whether the man-made technologies represent just another branch on the evolutionary tree. It is fascinating that all life forms around us share the same operating system with us, humans, DNA. What will happen once our technologies learn how to cooperate with it? Will genetic modification bring destruction or progress?

The project is being created especially for the Prague festival of light, Signal Festival.

The preparatory work included creative, technology and scientific research. The author used 3D scanning technologies, 3D printers and computer-controlled cutting machines to make special cultivation pots of the shape of which will copy selected architecture.

MESO Digital Interiors developed software for an interactive table for Siemens at the Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin 2008 and 2009.
Set into a multilayered framework by Franken Architekten and filled with rich graphic layers developed by Hauser Lacour, MESO Digital Interiors spread a multitude of interactive monitors into the table. Core focus was to have simple, lightweight albeit playful interaction, so all monitors were controlled by simple to use dials.
To communicate Siemens´ high level of technical sophistication all exhibits delivered full 4K-resolution (2560 × 1920 pixels at 60 fps) on 30"-monitors.

The “crema-calculator” allowed visitors to experience the various factors to get a perfect crema on the espresso. Another monitor displayed a time-line showing the cultural history of coffee. Another monitor compared different species of coffee beans with each other by a zoom tour into the center of a coffee bean. Four monitors featured the many features of the EQ7 with a sliding video viewer. Highlight of the interactive table was the image slider showing high quality photographies of coffee growing and refinement on three monitors.
