Welcome Gizmo

Dear pointmovers,

from now on you can translate, rotate and scale way more faster.
There is a Gizmo for that.
And every Editor in our EditingFramework has it inside.

  • Press 'g' to turn a Gizmo On/Off
  • Pick and drag its handles to transform the points
  • Hold 'Shift' for uniform scaling
  • Nudge points with arrow keys

The Gizmo is working in both DX9 and DX11 worlds.
See Editor's helppatches.

Nothing more to say.
Easy.

Available in the latest Alphas.

hello,
looks great btw
in latest x64 alpha the help patch is not up to date
VL.EditingFramework.0.51.139-gf4156628c6\Gizmo (EditingFramework 3d) help.v4p
doesn't point to the right path/name !

GizmoControls (EditingFramework 3d)
Gizmo (EditingFramework 3d)
should be
GizmoControls (EditingFramework 3d internal)
Gizmo (EditingFramework 3d internal)
?

other missing modules / files:

GizmoView (DX11 3d)
BezierPoints3D.xml

great work!

Hello guest,

thank you for pointing that!
The Gizmo itself is not intended to be used as standalone (at the moment), only as part of the editors.
So the helppatch for the Gizmo was just leftover after clean-up.
Needs more clean-up.

Great that you like it,
Anton
