any sugestions for an out of town hotel? Could have an offsite social, especially if it has a bar!

catweasel, Saturday, Mar 8th 2008

hm.. quite a problem with the hotel rates. it could be cheaper to sleep outside ffm and buy a tain ticket.

tonfilm, Saturday, Mar 8th 2008

i'll sleep in the train station

defetto, Saturday, Mar 8th 2008

no but the fair rates :( hotel prices in hannover at cebit time go up to 800 per night (without breakfast).

phl, Saturday, Mar 8th 2008

the color hotel has funny prices: 2.-4.4. it is 29 per night, 5-12.4. it is 189 per night. then again 29. do they include the pro-pass? ;)

guest, Saturday, Mar 8th 2008

… and is still ok to walk to and fro.

patrick, Saturday, Mar 8th 2008

camping in early april isn't recommended at all, here in frankfurt. the weather is genuinely unpredictable. the colourhotel is one of the cheapest budget places next to the youth hostels.

patrick, Saturday, Mar 8th 2008

@u7: nice one this leftfield track is pretty old but still good to listen

anachronik, Friday, Mar 7th 2008

vvvv rox anyway :) Nice 'hej' screenshot, what is it?

Westbam, Friday, Mar 7th 2008

Reactable has been realized with Pd

rrrr, Friday, Mar 7th 2008

Today the Reactable is in my city, Medellin Colombia.... vvvv Rox!

vladimir, Friday, Mar 7th 2008

maybe the cheapest http://www.jugendherberge-frankfurt.de/

Desaxismundi, Friday, Mar 7th 2008

it's because of the light&building at the same time. all hotel rates in frankfurt will be very expensive

guest, Friday, Mar 7th 2008

Way too expensive. We'll go for a campsite. If people living in frankfurt know anything about campsites near the city plase tell me. Tks

artcontr, Friday, Mar 7th 2008

or try this site: http://www.hotel.de/

tonfilm, Friday, Mar 7th 2008

tonfilm, Friday, Mar 7th 2008

Same question as franzi :---)

artcontr, Friday, Mar 7th 2008

franzi, Thursday, Mar 6th 2008

drupal_admin, Thursday, Mar 6th 2008

kalle, Thursday, Mar 6th 2008

@joreg: thx for the info! btw, i promised to try this a long time ago- i can't read the mouse wheel with my ps2 mouse, BUT i can with a ps2 to usb adapter, same mouse.

digitalwannabe, Thursday, Mar 6th 2008

@digital: nope. no xfile-animations in vvvv. yet.

joreg, Wednesday, Mar 5th 2008

i've just read that with conv3ds.exe it''s possible to save animations in .x files, can i read those in vvvv?

digitalwannabe, Wednesday, Mar 5th 2008

aka.remote sadly is not multi-touch.

zepi, Wednesday, Mar 5th 2008

I'm sure you already know.. http://www.acc.umu.se/~emilk/media.html

lanvideosource, Wednesday, Mar 5th 2008

@patrick catweasel already made an osc decoder-patch for aka.remote http://vvvv.org/tiki-index.php?page=catweasel-Patches

bjoern, Wednesday, Mar 5th 2008

Morning guys, some new nice Midi-Interface from Yamaha http://www.geekalerts.com/yamaha-led-music-drawing-tool/

frank, Wednesday, Mar 5th 2008

@pat: since this software communicates via OSC it already works with vvvv. i've actually touched it myself.

joreg, Wednesday, Mar 5th 2008

@introspector : mmm, isn't the grid(Ex9 Geometry) a ready to use primitive that works with shaders?

Desaxismundi, Wednesday, Mar 5th 2008

hmm, would be cool to have this for vvvv http://www.iamas.ac.jp/~aka/iphone/#aka_iphone_ex1 iPhone as a multitouch interface for MAX. still cheaper and somewhat more useful than the lemur …

patrick, Wednesday, Mar 5th 2008

another noob question... ;) how can i convert agrid into a mesh so i can use it with the gouraud shader?

introspector, Tuesday, Mar 4th 2008

hello vvvvolks, anybody in Amsterdam in the next few days?

defetto, Sunday, Mar 2nd 2008

an FTP node would be very useful. tnx dujo!

FrankBerg, Sunday, Mar 2nd 2008

@ Dujo, love to see an FTP node!!

Westbam, Saturday, Mar 1st 2008

is there any interest in a basic FTP node? If there is I might have to make it prettier.

dujoducom, Friday, Feb 29th 2008

vvvv rox!

SVG Exporter Rocks the casbah!!!...Thank You Def ;)

Desaxismundi, Friday, Feb 29th 2008

thx...pity... any hope this is gonna show up in the next beta? i think it's easy to implement, and it's super convenient for, e.g. creating lots of random values and distributing them to the different nodes that need them ;-)

bilderbuchi, Thursday, Feb 28th 2008

nope, doesn't work

woei, Thursday, Feb 28th 2008

feeding a spread (2-2-4) into the spreadcount pin doesn't work...

bilderbuchi, Thursday, Feb 28th 2008

hi! is it possible to let Stallone put out spreads of different sizes? I.e. Input 1 spread (8 slices), Output 3 Spreads with 2-2-4 slices?

bilderbuchi, Thursday, Feb 28th 2008

hi ppl, check the svg exporter out! http://vvvv.org/tiki-download_file.php?fileId=1521 feedback please, and if anybody want to improve the modules or help patches, would be welcome... enjoy!

elektromeier, Wednesday, Feb 27th 2008

@kalle: thx!

woei, Tuesday, Feb 26th 2008

i wonder if you could open the content of the workshops, i mean make a downloadable DVD with the content, really is very hard for me learn if i have not the opportunity. THX.

vladimir, Tuesday, Feb 26th 2008

@woei: Disperse is a very fine module!

kalle, Monday, Feb 25th 2008

joreg, Friday, Feb 22nd 2008

@bjoern : great one

anachronik, Thursday, Feb 21st 2008

hey alexander thx but osc decoder decode osc data packets into vvvv. What i'm currently looking for is a query that could return the current osc server adress scheme. Most osc implementations i've seen doesn't support that btw

anachronik, Thursday, Feb 21st 2008

maybe "osc decoder" is your node

hrovac, Thursday, Feb 21st 2008

does vvvv supports osc queries ? seems not but if someone can confirm...

anachronik, Thursday, Feb 21st 2008

for everyone who has been waiting: http://booking.vvvv.org/

ampop, Thursday, Feb 21st 2008

Where is the cat? The cat is in the kitchen!

ArsRobota, Wednesday, Feb 20th 2008

@all: lets bring life to the Online Node Reference!! keep in mind: select node, ALT-F1, 2bleklik and add your knowledge / experience there!

kalle, Tuesday, Feb 19th 2008

mm..no video on multiple heads with the sharedmem thing. that would still need a new videotexture..one fine day..

joreg, Tuesday, Feb 19th 2008

ah, and yes, as i understood, it will be able to show video on two heads with it...

tonfilm, Tuesday, Feb 19th 2008

joreg showed me briefly, its a RAM area with multiple access. e.g. share a DShow video and access it multiple times, with another app, or in vvvv like connecting the output to more than one input.

tonfilm, Tuesday, Feb 19th 2008

yeah whats that shared memory stuff for?

elektromeier, Tuesday, Feb 19th 2008

And shared memory, video on 2 heads?!?

catweasel, Tuesday, Feb 19th 2008
