in the center in my patch there is a movie OnGuard it is about the first big computer installation which was made by IBM for the US Air Force to discrimate the enemy from friend. SAGE invented a massive amount of new modern technics like:

• the electronic display
• programming languages
• databases
• networking 28 station where connected throughout the whole USA
• Multiuser Multitasking operating system (timeslice)
• 5,5 MW power consumption (modern in nowerdays think about P IV or some graphic-cards ;-)

this was all invented 1956!!!!
