I am from IronHydra: completely async multithreaded (every slice of compiled python code is a separate thread) IronPython wrapper for VVVV.
Here you can see the Iterate node running above piece of code approx 233 times every frame at approx 469 vvvv fps. that is 120 KHz absolutely nothing new to computer science but it can open interesting gates in vvvv ;)
