about

This is the DX11 version of the Softshadow from flux.

It seems to work not perfect or maybe to hard to tweak, but there it is in case someone want to play with ;D.

Hey hey this doesn't seem to be working for me, doesn't make any shadows.. Is it working for you all?

Cheers!

It doesn't work on current vvvv version
if i remember correctly I have use it once with a previous v4 release (maybe 33.1)

cristinatarquini 06/06/2016 - 11:05

thank you!

@vux any idea why this is broken in b34.2 but works in b33.7? i don't see anything obvious..

everyoneishappy 04/07/2016 - 23:51

I think at some point the default format for a temp renderer was changed. I uploaded the patch again with it set to a floating point format- seems to work now.

joreg 05/07/2016 - 00:13

perfect, thanks.

everyoneishappy: @overtones this would require 4D noise, which is possible but not implemented in Fieldtrip

overtones: Hi! SF2D has Time & DomainOffset inputs, but SF3D only DomainOffset. Is there a way to use Time in SF3D or it makes no sense? Thx
