what is arterial?

we are drawn to work of heart and substance
By coming together under one consultancy we are able to offer our clients a highly specialised team made up of some of Australia's best practitioners and interpretive designers.

Directors Jan Nowell and Jamie Ferguson formed Arterial based on the realisation that they were both drawn to work of heart and substance. Valuing projects that create wonder and explore possibilities; that nourish communities and nurture greater understanding.

Our team are drawn together by their love of stories: combining images, text, light and multi-media with materials and form to tell the stories of our histories and our cultures in an engaging and dynamic way. To touch audiences from all age groups, genders, cultures and interest groups.

We have a long association with the design and development of museum exhibitions, interpretive centres and story telling through art in urban spaces. Our work spans the length and breadth of Australia, and we are delighted to come together with like-minded people who share the same commitment and passion.
