visual meditation

credits autechre - bronchus24

my visuals are algorithmic compositions. I compose visual music with parameter morphings. shapes and process. many parameters at the same time, from which I expect different effects. from experience or as a new idea. some of these work in opposite directions and together create unexpected reactions. I can deal with these spontaneously and immediately with many midi controllers and pc keys that control the basic parameters. Five different visuals can easily be created in a few days and nights in a row. on a piece of music very different versions, of which I see: I don't have it yet. pointless to include the sixth version. at intervals, sometimes weeks later, I work on it again. and sometimes I see: that's it !! (music has many aspects: shape, energy, mood, tempo .. I try to visualize at least some of them at the same time)
