right now it's not implemented with vaudio, I will have a deeper look at that, but not within the next weeks...
Link has functions to call within an audiothread, and ones to be called by a foreground thread. The plugin (at this point) only utilizes the foreground calls, so there won't be any "real" audio sync with it...
If you would still like to test it in that state, just write me a mail! there is stuff on github as well, but not compiled and that was a bit of a hassle...
Yes, the basic version seems like a cool tool already for having a clock sync with the visual story I want to tell. I contacted you on skype for it!
I understand this has many more options that can be explored in the future.
From my understanding Link is more like a toolkit to negotiate timing between (networked) participants, instead of a system everyone needs to adhere for it to work. Exciting possibilities!
sweet!
would you mind if i test this?
I am collaborating with some musicians right now, and we are still looking for a cool way to sync. Midi on its own is just so-- Eighties.
Could this possibly work with VAudio?
chances are high, i'd say
yes, it is also mostly to suggest that it will be implemented so that the very solid timing that is possible in VAudio can be used

i'd also say that with set BPM and some DoSeek logic with an error correction offset you can sync VAudios internal timer pretty well.
