A Political Automaton called 33 notes

It is well known the capacity of every anthem for the call, its epic resonance through the exaltation of patriotic emotion. "This music will save us many cannons…!" said Napoleon about the Marseillaise. In a sort of reverse engineering, this automata splits the first 33 notes of The Internationale Anthem in response to Donald Trump's speech.
“33 notes” talk about action and non-action, the relationship between causes and effects, the questioning of what is passive or active, the meaning of the mobile or the immobile in time. It deconstructs the hymn's actant capacity to turn it into a place and a time for experimental listening and detained tasting. The notes of The Internationale (of all hymn by extension) are deactivated in a kind of demobilization to resonate in another space, presenting themselves as a subject for reflection, observation or listening process.
