Filestream (VLC) for DX11

Same as Filestream (VLC) but with full network streaming capability + support to choose the audio output

Now you can use all the functionality from the Filestream (VLC) node easily together with Vux's DX11 pack,
including network streaming (rtp, rtsp, udp etc.).
Also, you have the possibility to choose the audio out device (per slice).

Usage:
Drag the dll + the "libvlc_searchpath.txt" into you project folder
You need to have DX11 Pack and vlc > 2.0 installed. For x64 you need the VLC Player x64 (little tricky to find at videolan.org).

The output sound device is bounded to the file when you change the filename. For changing the audio output you have to reset the filename after changing the output device.
(check inspector for hidden features like video resolution)

any hints about usage?
doesn't work out of the box in 64bit beta 35.8, dx11 pack 1.1

(btw there is dx11 vlc plugin by vux in his dx11 pack; no routed audio there though)

place it in the same folder as vux plugin. restart vvvv. type vlc. should appear vlc2. works for me

Lrinke 29/06/2017 - 16:07

you just need an empty text file named "libvlc_searchpath.txt" in the same folder as the plugin.
if you installed vlc to a custom location, put your install path inside this doc.

Hi guys,
the node works fine with 1 video but if I switch between 2 folders with more videos vvvv crashes or works but crashes when I close vvvv. Any suggestions?

Thanks!
