History

DJ Sinclair, aka blink visuals is based in Queenstown New Zealand. I have been creating visuals since 1995, but more recently been doing more djing then vjing....

My current project is a really tweaked version of the svvvvitcher, details of which are on my homepage http://djsinclair.net

My version now includes 16 faders for both sources, and filter. As well as 3 customizable LFO's which can be routed thru any of the channel faders, or filter faders.

I've expanded midi to include launchpad for triggering presets, as well as filters that work on both combined sources, as well as individual, for certain effects.

Next on the list is including the timeliner, and record set features for more automation....

Latest enhancements

  • Just added patch fading, I was frustrated by the look of my svvvvicher seemingly stopping for a second or two to load new patches. To get around this I've added in a few lines into the blend shader so that both sources fade out, then fade back in once the next patch is fully loaded. The end result looks much better as it appears much smoother and more deliberate.
  • Have also added global dampers, these effect the slider outputs, from both presets, and live input. When used in conjunction, separately to the patch fading, (ie, if you have two presets that have the same patches) it looks great to have them "blend into each other".
