when uploading a module, each user has to define some tags (categories, function, version) then this list of all uploaded modules could be generated automatically by defining this tags... ok i know that tiki isnt able to do this (yet)...

i'am sure that one could write a script which generates such a table out of the modules gallery IF there is a strict file naming convention, ... but who can do this ?

i think the file gallery listz isnt bad... but a few more sorting searching options would be cool... an option to categorise with tags would be cool.

i don't see a way for automating this (because i don't know about content management). - hm. - i don't know. maybe the one or the other will stay. but for the beginning: why don't try both? i've got the feeling it is not too much work?

@ele: your table view on ModulesByCategory is cool. but i also like the collapsed view on the list. like in the vvvv node menu. maybe we could try to care for both?

actually there are already different pages for MODULES; PROJECTS and SHADERS - perhaps its more a matter of featuring these pages more prominent, and go through the stuff and sort it a little

the file gallery view is quite nice. i guess a convention for the description (like always start with something like "DEVICES:" or "MATH:") would help. i guess adding links to the names in the CREATED column should be possible within the wiki..

i'm not the wiki expert, but i think that wouldn't be too easy. maybe in the future it could be possible to just post a module to the wiki from within vvvv. but not for now. (or a helppatch for a node...)

mhh would it be very difficult to extend the file gallery (the modules) by a new column: category and link to userpage? this would be even less redundant, automatic actualised and it s possibe to sort the list...

yes i tried both. but i dont think its a problem in the patch because it generelly doesnt work no more with the new patches . (i did a very simple new patch with just a box and this doesnt work either.) but if you insist, i certenly will post the patch

im beta 9, doyou have tried to enable the right backbuffer? beacause there are two of them now in the inspector. one for windowed and one for fullscreen... nut strange that it isnt working in beta 8.1 anymore... can you post that non working patch?

hi there i got a strange problem: the depthbuffer doesnt work anymore:( neither in version beta8.1 nor in beta9. but i got an old patch (version beta8.1) where it worked and still works. any ideas?

kalle, looks like max on mac os... vvvv supports osc therefore it should work, as long no bundled messages are used. i wonder if its very difficult to patch an osc decoder

m. no. but with createnode you can replace a patch that has its layeroutput connected to a renderer...or you could send a layer..

that layer thing is cool but you have to get comfortable with it. bit more wires... mhh is it still possible to load patches on the fly which renders to the mainrenderer without connecting it manually?
