senones next week!
@oschatz: senones next week?
2071 makes me feel better about my patches
@2071: why not use Switch (Node Input) to switch whole transforms? or IOBox (node) to create transform output pins? but excellent graphics, reminds me of patching MAX....
screenhoot are from user morphopeleides
@sohya: no problems - great site.... @oschatz: thanks a lot!
@sohya & rand: anyway - great works! so sorry i can read japanese
@rand526sorry. It jumped to a conclusion. I was misunderstanding it with all works made from vvvv. The explanation is added. Thank you.
who's doing those morpho screenshots? Those are really tasty.
@sohya, i notice there are a few of my stills on yr site. this is not a problem - but many of them arent done with vvvv :) - i cant read whether there supposed to be or not...
wow oschatz, It is my site. I make an interactive work by using VVVV in Japan. Moreover, it introduces the work made with vvvv, and the manual is translated into Japanese.
@cat: Neat! If I convince my boss to buy some of these, will you share your patch? ;>
oops my mistake, versa tubes, http://www.elementlabs.com/ Chromas have been on every job since, hence in my mind! They're driven by video->a pixel mapping box
I am pretty sure that "chroma strip" is a product of Pulsar Lighting: see http://www.pulsarlight.com/ChromaStrip2.htm
can you explain what you mean by "chroma strips"? I can think of like 3 things that could actually mean ;>
It was running realtime, driving chroma strips, had a few bugs, I tink they've all been swatted now....
@catweasel: are you running a patch realtime on those shows or is it pre-production?
http://www.pro-music-news.com/html/studio/e51213co.htm The monitor at the back slightly obsured is running my vvvv patch!
@dequid: page is now obsolete and will be removed.
hehe, http://www.midigun.com/
@ampop: download links on http://vvvv.meso.net/tiki-index.php?page=Networks+Project+Bozen are not working :(
these scribbles will result into a research paper (of course in english) till then only for internal use. sorry. forgot to set perms correctly. david
Any change there will be an english version for " web-application development" looks interesting...
more vvvv in the international design scene http://www.generatorx.no/
:)
hey, thanks whichever mod fixed my link screwup over here ;>
@oschatz cheers for the info
just multiply your color in the shader with the matrix. and you have all kinds of control about the colors of your shader.
@u7angel & sanch: Re: Luminance Matrix. It is for creating matrices to do color transformatioms in a shader. See http://www.engr.udayton.edu/faculty/jloomis/ece563/notes/enhancement/Grafica3/default.htm
i just tried the AVIVO powered video out of my new atix1600 and this looks brilliant. no need for expensive scanconverters. interesting for everyone who wants to record video from v4 output
@pan, this is definetely fun :)
This is potentially fun: http://www.makezine.com/blog/archive/2006/04/logitech_quickcam_orbit_mp_1.html?CMP=OTC-0D6B48984890| WebCam with reality augmentation in the software
if i remenber, the luminance matrix node show only the pixel totaly align with the monitor pixel .
mmm...ok but that doesnt really help how to use it :)
what is luminance matrix for ? no help file or documentation...
i will do a post.
you mean the renderer has < 50fps? then it is obvious. fluid video needs exactly 50fps in the renderer.
@joreg. ok. i ask because i have a pb with holo3d card. when the renderer go down 50 fps my video is not fluid. what do you thinks about this ?
ja. cheater is only useful to use videotextures deinterlacing functionality with videoinput drivers that don't support videoinfoheader2 format
hi all. more precison about Cheater node. It adds only metadata ?
@hype, i uploaded the first How to: Body Projections into the forum...(tracking silouhettes) more soon...
hi panopticon....thanks for your love...it's always appreciated !! glad you like it...i'm preparing a "how to bodyvvvvisuals" right now. i will post a "how to spherearize" on the weekend...greetings jannis
@jannis, that looks awesome. I esp. love the spherical cityscape, I gotta try to do that.
Woo! I posted my first patch! I'm not just a leech anymore ;> Anyone telling me if I screwed anything up would be awesome.
Body Projections, Computational Beauty, Detonating Cars, Hot Chicks, Hot Guys, Mayhem....
yes thats a real simple texturefeedback like in matroska or snow. the trick is to use the right blendmodes, texturetiling and a texture queue. i post it mabe tomorrow on my userpage.
elektromeier: those Ornaments pics look very interesting! Any chance of some info or the patch?
mhh it seems not to run on all handys, because the java implemenation on most handy doesnt allow access to the bluetooth port...
sounds very interesting @ elektromeier. please keep me well informed.
@u7angel: the shader deforms a mesh on the basis of a pnoise lookup table
creating osc messages via handy over bluetooth: http://rob.tim-schenk.de/ when i got some time i check this out...
what exactly does the perlin noise shader in screenshot 2054 ?
http://www.plasmapong.com/ a pong game which uses some interesting fluid shaders.
jes. it is #vvvv on ircnet
vvvv on IRC
Is there an IRC channel or something for vvvv users?
beta 10 runs on iMAC, see http://vvvv.meso.net/tiki-browse_image.php?imageId=2052
i think sanch did 2037 too or it is a coop between sanch and tonfilm. as far as i know 2040 is based on the same principle.
@bjoern: yup! @the rest: who did screenshot 2037 "not intersecting quads"?
@bene. that was sanch. would be cool to show this in berlin, heh?!
who did screenshot 2038?
Wish I could make it, it looks amazing!
tonite (20.4, 20h): public experiments with spin at http://www.timesup.org/images/way/way.jpg you are welcome
anyone tried this? http://www.epiphan.com/pdf/vga2usb.pdf
tonite (19.4, 19:00): vernissage of the vvvv-driven installation "epizentrum" at the cuisine digitale (museumsquartier, vienna) http://5uper.net/post/146
finally a felipe USERPAGE!
ya. we'll be there to set up the spin thing.
is any of you guys coming to budapest in may?
hehe Aalto !bienvenue
very nice patch indeed!
yea, really cool !
thx. glad, you like it!
@ampop...kewl module !
hey whats gonna be in budapest in may?
and http://acutesystems.com/scrcf.htm can help (15 day trial)
@sanch: Font Metrics can help you http://briem.ismennt.is/2/2.3.3a/2.3.3.06.metrics1.htm
evil. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6122403781064290619&q=lessig&pl=truegoto 4:28
and of course http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Normal_mapping
and an other article on creating normalmaps http://www.monitorstudios.com/bcloward/tutorials_normal_maps11.html
theres just a small description what it does: http://66.70.170.53/Ryan/heightmap/dmcdescription.html
anybody has a pointer what the displacement map generator does mathematically?
found a small interesting tutorial how to photograph normal maps: http://66.70.170.53/Ryan/nrmphoto/nrmphoto.html
thanks for the cool normalmap shader...!
mmm...copy past the code seems not doing the trick :) weird flickering but no bump...forum topic
someone up for making/adopt a bump shader for v4 ? would be very much appreciated :)
emboss shader: http://vvvv.meso.net/tiki-index.php?page=User+Shaders
yeah!
hey sanch ;) found the rico-sticker?
please ask further questions in the vvvvorums (your case: try 'formatvalue' node)
how to make a string out of a value? like 005
truely amazing tonfilm...
finally you can download the quaternion julia fractal shader http://vvvv.meso.net/tiki-index.php?page=TonfilmsPatches
