Trouble setting up TouchOSC

I’ve got touchosc on my ipad connected to my wifi network with the IP 192.168.1.105, on TouchOSC i have set the host IP as 192.168.1.115 (my PC) with incoming as 4444 and outgoing as 5555 like described on osc

I have added a TouchOSC node and then F1 help, changing the IP at the bottom to the iPad 192.168.1.105 but nothing works.

Do i need some kind of intermediary app like midiyoke? Or could the wireless network be blocking the ports i am using?

basic answer will be check your ports, on both devices
since if it dosnt work you specified wrong port or ip somewhere

there’s this little bit that never fails to fool me (like, just about 7 minutes ago): make sure you actually send something - press some buttons, slide some sliders ;) also: firewall?
