New pipet node - missing pins

what happened to the extra pins that are missing from pipet in beta 26?

If I remember right these allowed you to take an average sample of an area around the specified coordinates, rather than the value of the pixel exactly at that point.

How might I achieve this now?

I suppose blurring the input texture is one option. Is this effectively what was happening before?

you mean the width and height pins? is it the same just to resize the texture res?

So if you want to sample 100 (10x10) points in an image 100 x 100 px what if you resize down to 10x10? surely that would average those 100x100? dunno though…
