Run patches on windows7 tablet

hi
do you think this kind of device :
http://gadgetian.com/9384/asus-eee-slate-ep121-specs-price/
Intel Core i5-470 UM / 4 GB Ram / Intel GMA 4500MHD
which is expensive regarding its specs…but anyway
do you think is it possible to run patches (patch switcher, html browsing, flash, simple interactions, basic shaders&plugins etc…)
since there’s a standard windows7 installed with directx and everything
is it comparable to a low end laptop
thx

I don’t know how powerfull the cpu is, but I have the same intel integrated graphics in my convertible tablet and it supports all the functionality in DX9 (and thus vvvv). You can do a lot with it but performance is of course nowhere near any modern discrete GPU, complex stuff will be slow.

thx for the info beyon
of course fluidSolver GPUParticle and stuff like that
may be vvvvery very slow
but since there’s an SSD inside
simple VJ like application(with Filestream’s)
may run smoothly with appropriate codec
not sure if the HDMI output can be recognized as a second physical screen

i had vvvv running ok on the viewpad. Was got it wireless boygrouped and just used it with some simple control of a visuals patch. Works really nicely. Rubbish GPU on it though, not good for anything. much much cheaper than the ASUS though. so depends what you wanna do with it i guess.
