Matrox tripleHead2Go AE help

Hi
I got my Matrox, the Triplehead Analog Edition and now I am facing something I didn t expect: the analog edition has no way to choose how many screens are attached and their resolution beforehand, that is, no USB connection.
I am using just 2 800x600 projectors, so I ll set the Fullscreen resolution to 2400x600.
Now the only way i see to get this working is transforming the output layer so that it occupies the first 2 thirds of the total screen resolution, right?
That said my question is: where should that transformation best be done?

1- setting 3 screens out on the multiscreen node and compressing my final layer before that to 2 thirds with a black output (or whatever, doesn t really matters) on the third third

2- setting 2 screens out on the multiscreen node and transforming them the 2/3 each of their width and moving as necessary (i guess 1 third to left th efirst and 2 thirds on the left the second)

3- ??? other ideas ? Better options?

I ve found this
http://www.matrox.com/graphics/es/support/drivers/download/th2go/tmet/
that seems to give dualhead capabilities to the TH2Go but resolutions are too high.

Possible setup?

th2go-dualhead-setup.v4p (19.6 kB)

don’t you have a driver disc? normally there’s a sort of control panel in it which allows you to choose how much screens you want to use, at which resolution etc… but that’s how it went for my digital ed, don’t know about analog but it’s surprizing you couldn’t choose the 2 screens config… about that, i had to connect the cables to inputs 1 and 3 for the 2 screens cfg to work… hope that can help. if you need the install cd tell me i can upload it somewhere, it looks to be the same for analog ed as there’s the doc for it too

hi
the analog edition doesn t have a usb port so there is no way to configure it as you would do with the digital or display port edition.
There is indeed a special software for dual head configuration (dunno actually how it owrks) but only for larger resolutions.

oh… so… good luck! :)

you need Soft edge for this? also, why is the homography for ?
