How to sedate flickering data (number) from wiimote?

Dear vvvv users

How would I survive on my own without this forum? :)

Currently I’m playing with wiimote for various purpose.
I’m looking for the best way to control the flickering(noisy) IO-value data (especially positioning data) from wiimote.
Most of time, IO-value seems to be quite stable. Howerver sometimes it creates very noisy movement which makes quite annoying result. The range of noise is about ±1.
Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks as always.

There is help in the Animation section.
Damper (Animation) would be the first that comes to my mind.

Another way might be with the help of FrameDifference (Value) in combination with Abs (Value) to filter out strong deviations from the calculation altogether. Other nodes that might be helpful in this direction: Queue (Spreads) & Mean (Spectral)

UserPage Kalle has a node IIR wich is really usefull, with a damper mode. Perhaps IIR is included in add-on pack ?

right now it’s not in the addonpack due to desolate internet connectivity of mine. hope to be able to bundle a big pack soon.
