i do a IO box with 4 colums with no alignment no constraints and set the behavior to slider.
show slider on. (i use it to positon 4 quads in 2 dimensions)
set minimum to -1
set maximum to 1
allow mouse offset on.
sticky slider on.
connect it to translate and than to quad. worked fine ! - i am able to postion all 4 quads.
now i connect a framedelay(animation) reverse to the io box. - “zappadoing” now i
only able to move my quads to the center of the screen ( in the +/+ quadrant of the karthesian system) - but the min/max values in the box still normal. !
is there a special reason or a bug ?
if i save and reload all is normal. but still framedelay connected
in a patch you wont see it. if i reload the patch the mistake is away . if i can describe it in german:
ich verbinde nicht den output pin der io box mit dem input pin des framedely sondern: ich klicke zuerst auf den input pin und ziehe die verbindung zum output pin der io box.
wenn ich es sorum verbinde dann tritt der beschriebene bug auf.
es geht nicht um die verbindung der pins ansich sondern um die reihenfolge wie diese verbindung erzeugt wird. das ergebnis sollte das gleiche sein nur wenn ich es von input zu output verbinde taucht der bug auf und wenn ich es vom output zum input ziehe taucht er nicht auf. nach reload ist der bug weg. und einen patch zu posten wäre ziemlich sinnlos da sich jeder eine einzelne connection vorstellen kann.
ich kann den bug auch reproduzieren.
aber ich glaub joerg weiss schon was sache ist.
und es ist auch nur nebensächlich da ich es ja weiss und wenn ich es richtig rum verbinde dann passt es. wollte es nur gesagt haben ;-) ( wies in ner ordentlichen community nun mal gehört.)
