Would it be possible to build objects from a spread of shapes, as it is done with Typospread in the Text Beta Halo patch in Girlpower?

Mesh (Ex9.Geometry Join) should do the trick. you need to compose your object out of triangles. the help page shows how to build a simple quad out of two triangles,
