RMS node behaves strangely

The value comming from the RMS node into my patch is behaving very differently under the same conditions…

sometime is works fine outputting between 0-1, at other times (with no changes in system settings and inputing the same music at identical volumes) its output has squashed ranges ie tends to be either very low or very high…
0 - 0.1 or 0.9 - 1. Anyone come across this b4?

any help at this stage will be very appreciated as i have gig tommorow and will be using a sound input

connect a Queue (Spreads) , a Bounds (Spectral) behind and use the Bounds-Informations to set the source minimum and maximum of a Map (Value) .

play aorund with the FrameCount of the Queue: thats your attention span.

my RMS values have to be amplified by Ratio ~1:500…
