sometimes when i save a patch to a different location on my harddrive the patch gets broken, seems like paths to subpatches get lossed as they are missing, how do i manually reassign the paths?

You can shift+alt+p to make the paths relative, then if all your patches are in the same directory or subdirectories you can simply copy and paste the folder.
You can manually fix them by opening the v4p in a text editor and searching for PATCH nodename and replacing the path by hand, but it can be a bit tedious that way!
