Is there any way to connect the audio out of a filestream to both a device audio out AND and RMS node.
I am playing video files with values that respond to the volume of music, but it seems the only way to do this is to patch the filestream to audio out, and then use an audio in node and set the sound card to record the wave playback. This seems a really clunky workaround, and there are a lot of soundmax audio cards that do not properly record wav playback.
It would be much easier if I could just do RMS on the audio that is playing from within VVVV, but then I cannot connect the filestream audio out to the audio out device… >=(
