videotexture(VRM9YUYVmixing) flickering-Geforce7950GT

Hi all

I am using the following setup to handle 12 HD streams.
In my patch i used the videotexture(yuvymixing) module which causes flickering on the output.
Do you have any suggestions regarding the hardware that might stop the flickering.
As far as i understand others have experienced the same flickering problems using that specific module.

Pc1-3:
Quad Core Intel
Ram: 8 GB 667MHz
Hard Disk:
1x WD Raptor 74GB 10000 rpm 16MB cache ( OS boot)
4x WD 500GB 7200 rpm 16MB cache (for Data)
4 x Black Magic Intensity for connecting the HD cameras to Pc
1 GForce 7950 GT

Master Pc:
Quad Core Intel
Ram: 8 GB 667MHz
Hard Disk:
1x WD Raptor 74GB 10000 rpm 16MB cache ( OS boot)
4x WD 500GB 7200 rpm 16MB cache (for Data)
3 x Black Magic Intensity for connecting the Pc1 - 3 to the Master Pc
2 x GForce 7950 GT

I don´t know if that is related to your problem, but:

Which OS do you use? Because Windows XP only can address 4 GB of Memory.

The other thing which I´am wondering about: which MotherBoard do you use?
Can this MoBo supply both graphiccards (in the masterpc) with 16 PCIE-Lanes?
Or does each graphiccard only get 8 Lanes or even less (since the blackmagiccards also use PCIE-connections)?

helo nano,

videotexture (yuvmixingmode) has this flicker-bug ever since and is therefore practically unusable. i don’t know how to fix it. comes time i will investigate this again…

Hi bjoern

What you said about the PCI-Express is correct. The graphics cards
are fed by PCI-E 8x slots cause the mainboard automatically disables one slot if a graphics card is first installed on a PCI-E 16x slot.(The type of the mainboard is P6N Diamond by MSI and the OS is WinXP 64bit ).
