The nice menu with all the nodes appears BEHIND the window.
This of course renders the menu useless.
Restarting vvvv fixes it for a while but it keeps coming back.

if you find a reliable way to reproduce this please let us know.
i’ve been working around that one by setting the obstructing window to always-on-top and back with ctrl-t. no idea on reproduction, though.
I have not tested this theory but it might be a conflict with “always on top”
I usually have task manager open and I usually switch around many windows a lot.
I will test it when I get time.
