Video to pixel spreads

Heres a quick question, I’ve made a quick “rough & ready” patch to take a video input source and output it to a spread as color data. This works fine but i cant seem to be able to change the size of the final render, width or height without having the edge repeat itself, also im unsure how to "flip the image to the correct orientation.
Im looking to output this data to DMX for some kind of colorchanging fixture to create a kind of large format low-res video effect.

Any one have any ideas how to resize the final render and flip the image?..Viewing the patch may make more sense of this.

Thanks

Andy

A mistake some people make is the invert the spread they use to get the slices with. Try -1 for width in stead off 1 (just a quess cozz I have NO idea what you done!).

I myself am an Enttec lover, but check here for other options.

Viewing the patch may make more sense of this.

So attach the patch!! And would be nice if you made an account.

Hi west, just tried inveryting the width but the image stays the same.
Ooops, i thought i had attatched the patch, ill try again now. if it doesnt work ill put it here for download.

DMX: Yeah I had a look at the different interfaces and am going to get an Entec pro shortly, I am a sound & light technician by trade so i pretty much have lots of fixtures available to play with ;-) through the compaies i work with.

As for setting up an account, i never get the confirmation email. Ill try again in a couple of days just incase it was a glitch?

Cheers

Since when has the pipet (EX9.texture) by DEFAULT an alpha off 0?

Can’t remember I needed to use the ‘hidden’ texture pin to put a color on a quad. (I use a JPG, and that has no alpha for sure ;) )

Thanks Bjoern, (looks like i had overcomplicated my patch!)I think i understand where i was going wrong, ill have a bit play around today.
(and i finally managed to register!) :-)
