Me to. workin on a project for the expo shanghai with lots of dynamic text in english and chinese…
would be a great help.
mh and by the way text (gdi) seems to rotate chinese charactes by 90 degree in the renderer. not sure if this is a bug?

i guess sohya was referring to Text (EX9.Geometry) in that initial posting. this one is still missing the utf8 support, while the actual Text (EX9) plugin meanwhile has utf8 support. will be shipping with beta>21 and is also already available in sourceform on sourceforge.
