Windows for mac

hello to everyone!
For a couple months I have been seriously considering the idea of installing the windows system inside my mac computer. This way I would be able to run vvvv(the only reason for even considering the idea of using windows).
However, as I am not very expert with the microsoft system, I have several questions about the hardware performance under a different OS. This is quite important and an issue because what really appeals me about vvvv is the shader writing(I have been doing GLSL for a while with jitter and quartz composer). Is anyone here using vvvv with a mac computer?, have you had any problems with the hardware performance?, any issues about the use of HLSL shaders?, which version of windows is advisable to install?
I am really inexpert about the windows OS so any hints would be deeply appreciated.

computer specs:
MacBook pro 10.5.7+NVIDIA GeForce 9400M+NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT

Thank you very much!
Emmanuel

isn’t it sad?

you don’t run into any of these problems because your hardware is labeled as a macintosh computer. since the switch to intel apple is using the same hardware you find in models from all other vendors.

if you really just wanna do vvvv, use the stone age windows xp because vvvv is not optimised for vista/7 (gui glitches, one or two nodes aren’t working).

MacBook pro 10.5.7+NVIDIA GeForce 9400M+NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT

great mobile graphics hardware. (make sure windows uses the 9600gt, but as far as i can remember it does that anyway).

No, mac computers use as the default video card the 9400 in order to save energy(weird, isn’t it?).
Couple more question: Is there any specific issue using HLSL shaders with the partition, maybe because the virtual machine?.
Is vvvv going to be optimized for windows7?
Thank you
