Print patch as postscript

high

maybe the wrong category for this posting. anyway…

as i am still doing my master thesis using v4 as a tool of choice i need to put some patch screenshots in the methods part. as the thesis has a lot to do with visualization issues i can`t really use 72dpi screenshots (this would look and feel ridiculous).

is there any way to just print a ps or pdf file of a patch-window (no renderer involved) like in pd…

i guess not - but maybe its worth to question…

ähmm well…

and i actually wanted to start with “hi” ;) …

hm…there is a hidden shortcut: Ctrl+Alt+2, that tries (and somehow fails) to save a patch as a .emf vector image…see for yourself…

i always was sure that there are more surprise shortcuts…
thx for this one.

i d love to know more of those “magic tricks…” ;)

still it would be pretty cool if even only simple io boxes (strings and floats) would find their way in the print… - i will have to fake this somehow in photoshop (extra work - argh!..)

or patching an .v4p to svg converter? could be a lot of work, mhh…

is there a “hidden” page documenting all those “hidden” shortcuts which come up from time to time? ;-)
