Mpeg 4 decoding

Is it possible to play MP4’s in VVVV? The codec FAQ page mentions MP4 as agood codec for decoding on the GPU but I can not make 4V recognise the file.

Is your windows media player playing the MP4 ?
If yes, it should also play in vvvv.
It might only be a problem with the file extension. Please try to change the extension of your mp4 to .mpg … might work.

Simply renaming… brilliant… that worked LOL.

I used http://keepvid.com to grab some clips from youtube, now it works almost right out the box :)
