I’m just getting started and jumping into boygroup:

I have 1 server and 1 client and they don’t connect

If I invoke a Ping module on the server to the client (192.168.2.7) it reports not connected every 5 seconds.

If I open a Windows command prompt at the same time and ping the same IP address, the vvvv Ping reports it is connected, until the the Windows ping is finished its last try and then the vvvv Ping reports unconnected again.

sounds interesting and i don’t have a clue how this could happen. has anybody else seen such behaviour?

looks like a firewall behaviour, had this on xp systems some time ago.
on xp -> set log file for firewall and try to ping out of vvvv.
read log file.
solution: allow vvvv for network protocolls.
