Mapping contours

I apologize for the rather vague question. I have been looking for a place to start in the forums but no luck. Can anyone offer me suggestions on a method to mapping video on a manneqin? I’m assuming I may have to take a still shot and edit it to mask the shape but the contours perplex me. Quite honestly don’t know where to start. Perhaps take foto the use one for masking and another to add a vector to the contour? Not sure best method, any direction appreciated.

Might add the intent is to project onto the manneqin

Hi, welcome.

I think these articles should be a good place to start:

Good luck!

Bitminster,

I did one of those things where I have read this projection articles before but the undistorting projections kind of caught my interest this time around, perhaps due to my current challenge. I have been trying to think best way to accomplish this with low distortion on mannequin profile and facial structure and thought I wonder about running the process down to pixels maybe or perhaps I thinking too deep. I have in the past done simple 3D Geometrical mapping but never something with so many curves so its relatively challenging to me. In the past I more or less altered my image out via coordinate play. Im thinking that making a model will be the most challenging part for me. Suggestions on best method for this from photo? I have Photoshop 7 so perhaps this will be best solution.

Thanks in advance
