Can't connect arduino board to vvvv

I can’t figure out how this is happening but the RS323 port to connect my Arduino UNO to vvvv keeps showing up as red and cannot be used to change the Serial Port. I’ve installed the drivers for Arduino and I’m not running Arduino, Processing or any other programs that might be occupying the RS232 port so there’s nothing that should be conflicting with vvvv’s access to it. Also I’m using the RS232 (Devices) node instead of the legacy one.

Anyone have an idea how to get around this?

PS: The Serial port should be COM4 but vvvv won’t even let me change it!

Safe Route:

  1. Toggle off the _Enabled _
  2. Hit the (hidden) Update Port List
  3. Select a valid Port in Port Name
  4. Toggle on Enabled

If this fails to work, toggle off Enabled again, and try a different port.

Also, if you enable Exception Dialogs (in the middle-click menu), or have a look at the TTY Renderer, you might get more infos about your issue.
