Kinect on network

hi guys

a problem I got confronted with today…
I have a Kinect1 and I am trying to get it working on a network computer at my school. but I cant get it to work.

next to the network computer I have my own computer with exactly the same software and Kinect, so that must be allright…

this problem sounds familiar to anyone? let me know!

Do you have installed your drivers? or I think you’d better trying Boygroup (VVVV Server)?

@artvt what is the exact question here? did you read kinect?

yes yes, Im sorry, question was a bit unclear…
drivers are installed, and sample’s that come with the primesense drivers work allright. so the hardware and the drivers work correctly…

also vvvv is installed and re-installed, (latest version)and seems to be working fine.

the thing is that the kinect (open ni) node in combination with the RGB node does not give any image… also the drivers are not visible in the iobox that is connected to the kinect node… but they ARE visible in device manager…

is there a particular reason why you’re going for OpenNI? if not try going the ms-driver route. this one has proven to be much more stable.
