I got this Error:
com object that has been separated from its underlying rcw cannot be used.
Took me an hour to find ._-files from a mac that caused this error when trying to playback this folder with the ex9-texture-player-node.
So if anyone encounters this: check your files…
hm…can you elaborate on that? what are “._-files”? so you selected a directory that had legitimate files and some of those and that caused the error. removing those files from the directory the player works fine?
@joreg, if you copy files from a mac they have an accompanying .filename.xxx, for every file, its something like the resource forks they used to use, they’re normally hidden, but if you have show all files turned on in your folder options they show up and cause fun, the xxx is the file extension obviously so png or wav, the dir node lists them as valid filenames too. Either you have to delete them, or turn off show all files…
