Issue with OSC and Midi

Hi guys!

I’m working in a project with Kinect+vvvv+Live OSC+Ableton Live 9 and I’m having trouble sending OSC commands and Midi messages…it seems like Ableton gets confused and behaves randomly.

I use OSC Encoder to send messages like “/live/play” or “/live/stop”, when I press a certain button on the screen…it’s just basic stuff, and it works OK…till I start sending Midi messages via MidiControllerOut object. With Midi, I’m controlling some frecuency effect “mapped” to my left-hand’s XY positions.

Long story short, when both Midi and OSC are active…it seems like the effect controlled by Midi its working ok, but the “play-stop” it’s not.

Are there any known issues related to this strange behaviour?

do you know about LivvvveOSC?

My logic is mostly based in LivvvveOSC. I believe Ableton gets messy with all these messages…at least it seems so.
