Video texture and uv mapping

Im trying to attach a video texture to fit a 3d object’s spacific surface, which is in imported by xfiles.
1st, adjust the object’s uv mapping in 3rd max and successfully export to a *.x file.
2nd, trying to attach a pure image which is drawing follow this object’s uv grid, by filetexture, succeeded.

But don’t know the logic about videotexture .

Is there any clue to accomplish it ?

if texturing your model works as expected with FileTexture (EX9.Texture) i don’t see a reason it should not work with VideoTexture (EX9.Texture VMR9). try to be more specific about your problem. best attach a patch of your attempt.

by FileTexture , I import a classic uv image , but by VideoTexture, I jsut improt a normal 640*480 video file.

does it means that i should make a video by any tools like After Effects, to draw shapes or other motion graphics in the same position as the image’s appearance (if grid on image, draw what I want in the same x & y pos), see the attachment uv texture file?

my friend make a video file followed uv gird, we made it, and will trying more video texture detail control.
