hi all… another vague question from yours truely :)
i was just wondering if there is anything out there that might help me with recording gestures? id like to be able to record XY points over time into a spread… with an arbitrary length. i have been playing with Queue and Levin, but cant seem to get them to work correctly.
i intend to compare with some existing spreads, so the program will know to go a certain way… anyone messed around with this idea?

There is a Gesture (2D Simple) module. I guess I’ve seen it at diki’s userpage. Check this. Might be a good starting point.
If you wanna go deeper in this issue, take a look at Eyesweb.org . They made a patch-based software to capture dancers and interpret this signals. Its not good for making visuals but for analysis. There are some papers spreaded over their site about gesture interpreting. Its pretty messy to find, though.
