Hi guys,
I noticed that when filming the projection of DLP projectors with a regular digicam, an annoying flickering is present in the recording.
LCD projectors can be filmed without this artifact occurring.
Is this the case for all (1-chip-)DLP projectors? Or does it depend on a certain tech spec?

dlp alternately projects either the red, green or blue part of the image (also some models that use more colours) on the wall, but this at very high speed. the image you see is just the construct of the weak human eye ;)
i think that this technology interferes with certain camera refresh rates.
lcd on the contrary always projects one “full” rgp picture at a time.
