About morphing

Hi all, don’t know if it’s the right forum for this post, hope so, i’m using ocean.fx, basically it is a pixel/vertex shader, so it works fine using a box as mesh input.

I was studying a way to morph the input geometry and I checked out the tutorials (cpu and gpu based).
If i wanna create an “hole” inside the box could be smart to do it directly inside the .fx code ?
